How is SkyRun International different than other vacation rental experiences?
Every property listing within SkyRun International is reviewed by our hospitality professionals before it is accepted as part of our program.

We are responsible for verifying that the homes meet SkyRun International’s rigorous standards (including design and fire and life-safety) and provide 24/7 support to our guests during their stay. We also strive to make travel easy and stress-free for our guests by offering high speed wi-fi; premium bed linens and fluffy white towels - all expertly laundered; and premium bath amenities. Additionally, staying with SkyRun International allows our guests to get discounts with SkyRun Bonvoy.
What's included?
Although SkyRun International boasts diverse and unique properties, we believe certain fundamentals are necessary for your comfort and convenience. Mostly every home listed on our site is to include:

Am I getting a good deal?
When you book direct with SkyRun you avoid paying service fees that traditional listing channels, like Airbnb, Homeaway, Expedia, etc, charge. Our prices are also competitive with rent-from-owner rates, but we offer professional service, optional travel insurance, and immediate on-site assistance should the need arise.  In addition, we offer exclusive discounts for SkyRun guests.  SkyRun can help you plan and save on your entire vacation experience, not only the rental itself.  We also offer last-minute booking specials.
How does travel insurance work?
Travel insurance is an optional addition to your total rental charges. It is offered on our reservation form at the time of booking. It is also usually offered at the time of booking when you booked with a 3rd party booking site. You can also add travel insurance onto your reservation within 48 hours of booking.

The cost of travel insurance varies and is usually between 7% - 9.5% of your total reservation cost depending on the coverage type.  If you do not have travel insurance, you can not cancel your reservation for any reason.  If you have travel insurance and need to cancel or make a claim refer to your specific policy. How do I rent a property?  What are the deposit and payment terms?
You can rent any of our properties by booking directly on this website using a credit card or you can call to book a reservation if you would like to speak with a vacation planner. 

When you book, 1/3 of your total reservation cost or a minimum of $300 is charged as a non-refundable deposit to secure your rental. 30 days before your arrival, the remaining amount is due and becomes non-refundable if you need to cancel for any reason (see travel insurance above for exceptions).  At this time, the credit card we have on file will be automatically charged for the balance. In some instances, SkyRun may offer optional add-on services such as grocery pre-stock, additional housekeeping, etc. that are charged in your booking if you want. If your credit card is declined, you will receive an email with instructions to update your form of payment. If you do not take action and provide a new form of payment within 48 hours, your reservation will be canceled.
How do I check-in?
For most properties, SkyRun utilizes a convenient keypad lock or lock box system which allows you to enter your vacation rental using a personalized access code, as opposed to having to pick up a key and worrying about keeping track of it during your stay and returning it afterwards. This also saves you the trouble of coming to a check-in center beforehand. Your welcome packet will be in your mail with specific instructions from your rental upon arrival, and our staff is always only a phone call or text away if questions arise.
What are the house rules?
No smoking and no pets (unless specifically designated as pet-friendly) are allowed in the rentals, Must be up to 23 years old for booking.  No parties where more than the number of people the property sleeps are allowed in the rental at any time. As in your own home, renters are of course subject to citations for noise violations, etc, handed down by public officials. Remember you are staying as a guest in someone's home, where much investment has been made to make your stay enjoyable; please treat all private property with the respect it deserves.
Why do some homes require a security deposit?
In some instances, a property management HOA may require a security deposit to ensure proper care of the residential areas. In these cases, our SkyRun host will reach out to you via email after booking to collect the appropriate security deposit, damage waivers. They will also be responsible for returning the security deposit to you following check-out, assuming the home is in good condition.
Why do some homes require a liability waiver?
Some HOAs require a liability waiver for the individual home if a property offers recreational amenities or features such as kayaks, pools, golf carts etc. Please see full Terms and Conditions here
What happens if something gets damaged in the home during my stay?
We ask that you take care of the homes as if they were yours, but we know that sometimes, things can happen. If any damages occur during a stay, please report them using the contact details provided at check-in. Property managers assess the state of the home following each stay to make sure that each home is left as wonderful as it was before the stay and will work with each guest to resolve any issues.
What if I need to change my arrival/departure time or length of stay?
For any changes to your travel plans, please contact our SkyRun host or email us at cancun@skyrun.com. They will work directly with you to accommodate your requests to the best of their abilities
How frequently is housekeeping provided?
Professional housekeepers do a full service clean in all our properties before each new guest arrives. This includes making the bed with fresh linens and providing new bathroom amenities. At some luxury properties, housekeeping is provided throughout the stay; this will be detailed on the home listing. Mid-stay housekeeping is available for an extra fee and can be purchased when booking a home or requested during your stay. In the case of our residential communities, it is included in their Skyrun HOA fees.

Why do I have to pay Association Fees in my HOA?
All owners are required to pay association fees by the governing documents of their association in Mexico . The fees may be due annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly. These funds are used for the operation of the association, maintenance of the common property, and are used to provide services for the benefit of all owners. A portion of the fees collected are designated for the future replacement of aging property components.
How do I pay the Association Fees if I am outside of State?
SkyRun Property Management is pleased to announce that you now have four different ways to pay assessments by our Online Platform – Online via eCheck or Credit or Debit Card, PayPal, Xoom, ACH/Auto Debit.
What is a “Master Association”?
“Master-planned communities” are often comprised of several distinct homeowners associations. In such cases, the master association is the “umbrella” organization that provides services that are common to all of the individual associations, such as contracts for community patrol, trash collection, common landscape maintenance, etc. in SkyRun we do have years of experience taking care this important business for you.
